Slingshot works alongside communities most impacted by environmental threats to take aim at polluters and build community power.

The Public Interest Network includes the state Public Interest Research Groups, U.S. PIRG, state environmental groups in 29 states, Environment America, Impact, Environmental Action, Toxics Action Center, Pesticide Watch, Green Century Funds, Green Corps, National Environmental Law Center, Frontier Group, Community Voters Project, Accelerate Change, and Impact.I work with the network’s advocates, organizers, and fundraising staff to raise funds for a wide array of campaigns across the country, from stopping fracking to getting big money out of politics to requiring GMO food labeling and many more.

The Coalition for Sensible Safeguards is an alliance of more than 150 consumer, labor, scientific, research, faith, community, environmental, small business, good government, public health and public interest groups that together represent millions of Americans, all joined in the belief that our country’s system of regulatory safeguards should secure our quality of life, pave the way for a sound economy and benefit us all.I assisted the manager of the coalition by helping write blog posts, maintaining our website, coordinating coalition sign-on letters, hosting events, and more.
