GM of CWS-boco's multi functional facility in Galway with full responsibility for production, logistics, customer service, engineering, facilities, quality & H&S. Successfully relocated the operation to a new 62,000sq ft facility, designed & implemented new lean manufacturing processes & procedures that led to a significant increase in productivity & a reduction in operational costs. Achieved order completion & on-time delivery targets that led to improved customer service & increased customer retention levels. Developed a healthcare linen production line within the new plant & lead the team that was successfully awarded new healthcare contracts to fill this capacity. Strong on change management, process improvement & cost control. Excellent problem solving skills.

- GM of Sterile Surgical Supplies business with 55 staff which was part of National Linen. Full P&L responsibility. Successfully relocated the original business to a green field site in 2001 with no disruption to service. Implemented new lean manufacturing practices that led to improved productivity, & a reduction in costs. Led team that implemented new quality systems that led to the business being successfully awarded the CE Mark for Class II medical devices. Sourced a supplier in China for certain product lines, redesigned the product branding & packaging, designed & built a warehouse to handle the new supply chain and launched new products onto the market that led to increased turnover.In 2005 I took on increased responsibility in conjunction with my existing role when I was appointed GM for National Linen's specialist workwear rental business in Dublin. I managed these multi site locations by developing a strong management team in both plants to work with me in growing the businesses. Successfully implemented process improvements in the workwear plant that led to increased productivity, customer retention & turnover.

Joined the company as an evening shift assistant production manager.
