I am a researcher who has eclectic research interests that span defence & security at one end, to collecting Chinese works of art (CWA), at the other.In-between the fields of CWA and defence & security, I have extensive expertise as a political analyst, in the field of comparative politics, international politics, and domestic politics (as it relates to Singapore). I had worked as a full-time researcher at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (1990-2006). While currently focusing on Singapore domestic political analysis I am simultaneously pursuing my passion in collecting CWA, which I began in 1990.
