Ever since I can remember, I’ve been fascinated with technology... Sitting in my dad’s big office chair, struggling to navigate Windows 3.x and DOS CLI just to play “Comanche”, spending hours with friends building Rube-Goldberg contraptions with K’Nex, tinkering with my brother’s RC car so he could use it in the yard… a childhood of wonderful memories learning how to think critically and solve problems.Years later, the toys have evolved into tech stacks, I still remember the command to launch Comanche, and my brother’s Jeep gets around on a few inches of grass just fine! But the most important lesson I’ve learned, through years of troubleshooting, through school, through projects and partnerships, is that it’s not the technology that counts. It’s the people.Even the most robust technical systems rely on the good faith and dedication of talented individuals.In both my personal and professional life, I have been fortunate to be surrounded by brilliant, caring people that have challenged me to strive and succeed. Doing the same for others – whether it’s helping a friend with a website, coaching a colleague through difficulties, or working as a team to deliver results – this is what motivates me to succeed.
