I developed enrichment activities such as beach cleanups, museum visits, mural walks, overnight camping, and the installation of a rooftop garden. Every day taught me something new about group management, adapting expectations, and growing a thicker skin. This job reminded me that I could change the world as a teacher; that I could nurture a foundation for positive change by acting as an educator, mentor, and inspirer for students. Show less
