As a Senior Product Manager for Secure, I am responsible for the Dynamic Analysis group, which includes Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), DAST API, and Fuzzing. The focus for this group is on testing the security of deployed and running applications, rather than testing the code. We do this by incorporating DAST into the DevOps pipeline and allowing developers to do test early in the SDLC. By providing insight into how an application may be vulnerable once it is deployed, we can help developers mitigate the risks long before an application is even deployed to staging.I was also the interim Senior Product Manager for Gitaly, which is the core service that provides high-level RPC access to Git repositories. Without it, no GitLab components can read or write Git data. It also enables a high-availability system through Gitaly Cluster, which allows for multiple Gitaly nodes to be hosted for high-volume and business critical repositories.
