A member of the original founding team that created Miva Corporation, created the Miva brand and witnessed its growth over the course of 8 years, promoted to VP of Marketing from a junior Director role, and continued in the same position as VP of Marketing after the company was acquired by FindWhat, Inc., in 2004 and subsequently renamed as “MIVA Small Business” when the newly merged parent company, (American) FindWhat + (European) Espotting, chose to re-brand the combined global assembly of acquired properties as MIVA, Inc. (NASDAQ:MIVA). MIVA Small Business was later resold (MivaMerchant.com).+ December’04 – June’05 – Chosen by senior management of the new parent company (FindWhat+Espotting) to participate in the global re-branding and create the newly integrated MIVA, Inc. after the “Miva” brand was selected for this purpose following an extensive review of the entire collection of newly acquired brands.+ (2000 to 2005) Created, coordinated, and managed 6 annual Miva Conference events.+ (2001) Promoted to VP of Marketing and became responsible for PR, marketing plan, and budget.+ (Summer-Fall 2000) Oversaw the design and construction of a custom Miva Corp tradeshow booth, which went to use exhibiting at several tradeshows around the country throughout 2000 and 2001. Directed and organized all company involvement in tradeshows, including exhibit shipping/logistics, assembly on site, as well as marketing collateral, promotions, and demo production for show participation on the tradeshow floor. + (Summer-Fall 1998) Co-designed the first version of Miva Merchant, contributing to feature spec and UI development. Created the Miva Merchant brand, authored a complete end user documentation suite, built and published online product demo along with online and printed marketing collateral.
