As the Chief Operating Officer at Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City, I am responsible for thinking, planning, and executing strategically and collaboratively on behalf of the community to maximize impact. I have more than 14 years of experience in senior nonprofit leadership roles, with expertise in fundraising, marketing, grantmaking, partnership building, and nonprofit management and operations.I currently oversee all fundraising (more than $6.5 million annually) and communitywide initiatives, while leading total operations, including budgeting, staffing and security. I have successfully led key projects and programs, such as a comprehensive community study, a pilot destination marketing/familiarization program to drive community growth, and the publishing of a community newspaper. I'm passionate about philanthropy and building community, and I enjoy telling the stories of difference-making organizations and individuals.In addition, I am a community-minded nonprofit board member and leader, having served as an event chair, funding committee chair, treasurer and vice chair on nonprofit boards, including raising millions of dollars to fight hunger, to support at-risk youth and to advance early literacy and school readiness.
