- Managing Plant Engineering Projects and the Maintenance team to improve the plants level of readiness and improve production throughput.- Restructuring the TPM program to be more efficient and reduce plant equipment downtime.- Coordinating large projects in the facility to be successful, on time and under budget using PMP principles.- Work with all departments to handle issues needing maintenance and engineering support.

· Developed Augusta’s Continuous Improvement Program from scratch and lead a cross functional team at weekly meetings updating all ongoing projects progress with the Plan, Do, Check, Act mindset.· Led the day to day Controls decision-making responsibilities when the Plant Controls Engineer was promoted to corporate role during plant construction of GRP.· Assist diverse teams in the RCA process, solving complex problems that plague the facility and ensuring the effectiveness of the solutions using various Six Sigma tools.· Developed small projects and assisted many others in accomplishing their projects improving many different processes in both Augusta Soluble Coffee Plant and Georgia Roasting Plant facilities.· Managed multiple capital projects keeping scope schedule and budget within parameters. · Managed contractors working on projects and negotiating bids for projects.· Ability to deliver presentations to various sized groups and to various levels of management, maintaining composure and tact. · Managed multiple Capital Projects simultaneously.· Managed contractors onsite and negotiations for project bids adhering to PMI standards.· Developed Preventive Maintenance Programs from scratch and restructured others utilizing diverse technical background to create a robust PM program.

The primary focus was supporting and maintaining the Diesel Engine Test Stands for the production and R&D facilities. Secondary objectives were the automated aspects of the manual assembly lines, machining equipment, utilities and facility maintenance aspects. · Developed training, mentored and led the maintenance team activities in the diesel engine test cells, facilities equipment and DAQ interfaces making critical decisions in a timely manner.· Mentored others in the calibration methods of the two facilities.· Led the continuous gas monitoring system installation and maintenance in the production facility and installation of equipment in the R&D facility.· Led the maintenance group in the Lean processes and Continuous Improvement projects for the facility that involved the maintenance group specifically around the 2 facility’s test cells.

· Non-Woven Focus Factory process improvements on old and new equipment. · Automating lot coding printing applications.· Improvements to high speed vision systems, technical troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting and projects.

Start-up Test Engineer for the Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility. · Wrote test procedures while mentoring others in the electrical, mechanical and program testing principles developing a sound and diverse test team with a strategy to accomplish complex tasks safely, efficiently and in a timely manner.· As Test Engineer II, directed glovebox testing assuming all responsibilities for testing with my team.

Multi-skilled maintenance technician with diverse experience: design, reliability program to include oil analysis, vibration analysis and Thermal imaging, PLC programming, Kaizen Coordinator, Aiken Technical College mentor for 5 different students, preventive maintenance planner and many other skills required for other responsibilities. · Managed a cross functional kaizen team for the tire assembly area; developed and monitored all continuous improvement events in this area improving throughput and reducing area downtime.· Developed and led various projects of many sizes from $2,500 up to a 5-million-dollar project working with: engineering, production, quality, different sub-contractors and maintenance. · Developed the project and managed the labor force required to implement a 2 year long; 5-million-dollar project at Bridgestone which was successfully completed within time constraints and under budget. · Created a conversion unit to replace an obsolete rotary atomizer and changed over to the new systems plantwide for 26 machines for 250k with a rapid payback period of only 3 months.· Led kaizen event to improve the offline pigment area throughput increasing the plant’s mixer capacities.· Revamped Preventive Maintenance programs in two of the plant’s areas: Tire Assembly and Mixing Department.· Updated alignment program in the tire assembly area.· Managed contractors onsite and negotiations for projects.

Entered the Electrician Mate's Program in the Navy Nuclear Power Program and developed electrical, mechanical and electronic skills and more during my tenure. Managing the Electrical Division Shop, troubleshooting, repairing, and training other sailors on how to be better electricians.
