My life has been a constant exploration of big ideas.As a child, I was fascinated by space exploration. As a youth, I discovered the wilderness. As a young adult, I found joy in loving and serving other people. As a young professional, I was driven by critical thinking and performance improvement. Now, as a seasoned professional, I am thrilled to bring together my love of adventure, my love of people and my love of big ideas into a practice where, as a guide on the side, I help others on their epic journeys.I am the founder of Unconstrained, an organization dedicated to help leaders work through their trickiest opportunities.I created the Essential Dynamics framework to make systems thinking more accessible for dealing with business challenges, but I soon found the framework was helpful for dealing with societal issues and family and personal challenges. There's so much to talk about that I started the Essential Dynamics podcast in 2020.I have been a volunteer leader and advisor to youth and young adults and to their leaders since I left high school. Scouts Canada taught me the importance of making sure programs were "youth led". My experience working with youth has inspired my guide practice. I consider all those I work with as fellow travellers, some who have been on the road for years and years, some who are just starting out.I see life as a great adventure, with highs and lows, unbelievable challenges, loyal companions, divine help, and, from time to time, little victories, all for which I am grateful.Consider your quest!
