As a child, one of my greatest obsessions was knowledge. That passion has helped develop my analytical mind over the years and has deemed me, in many ways, a student of life. This understanding has helped push my personal expectations higher, which allows me to grow and pursue bigger and greater things in all aspects of my life.In my college years, I chose to finish my degree with Dallas Baptist University. The school was the first to teach how I have always been taught to live, through servant leadership. Through DBU I was able to see and work with like minded individuals who were all taught the concept and importance of servant leadership. The highest priority of a servant leader is to encourage, support and enable subordinates to unfold their full potential and abilities. This leads to an obligation to delegate responsibility and engage in participative decision-making.Today, I work within the Midland Independent School District as a Computer Technician. Beyond the technical knowledge, being a Computer Technician requires a self motivated, organized individual who can plan and delegate the tasks needed for the day by prioritizing problems and completing them in a timely and efficient manor. With that, they are presented with obstacles which require field research which would require someone to take in new information and applying it in the field under the pressure of time. Before, I was the Research and Development Office Coordinator and Sous-Chef for Hill Country Bakery. A job that challenged me every day to develop efficient ways to perform even the most mundane of tasks efficiently and cost effectively. Through my years, I've seen projects rise and fall. I've seen the good, the best, and the worst in both people and in business relations, and have gained much with my time there.
