Seed Analytics is housed within the Comotion Business Solutions group. Seed Analytics assists wealth managers and financial advisors in finding solutions for some key problems when it comes to consolidated client statements, business intelligence, and identifying clients that are at risk.

As a Mendix Business Engineer I am responsible for analysis and functional delivery of enterprise solutions on top of a Java technology stack using Mendix.While working for DVT I was situated at Direct Axis where I worked on a call desk lead management system, a web on-line repeat loans system and was the lead on an e-commerce loan application system used by entities such as Kalahari.com, Takealot.com and Zando. Additionally I worked on a FICO Blaze risking rules engine project to re-write Direct Axis's old risking product.I am a co-author on www.mendixandbeyond.com, a leading Mendix development community Blog.

I Initially started at TradeStream as a Java developer working on a paperless importing Document Management System as well as an Import LC system for Massmart and Edcon. As of Feb 2009 I moved to a Business Analyst role where I was tasked with the specification of additional features to the importing Document Manager System, additional improvements to the Import LC system as well as the User Interface standards of the companies web applications. In 2010 the company adopted a Scrum development methodology during which time I became a certified Product Owner for a Forex Treasury management application.Additionally to the role of Business Analyst in 2009 I was tasked with working on Tradestone projects (http://www.tradestonesoftware.com) in implementing Product Life Cycle Management Tradestone software in the retail industry. The role included the configuration of the Tradestone application to provide purchase order tracking, supplier management, sourcing, item quality management, logistics and finance features at Mr Price and Shoprite.

At UTi I worked as a Software Engineer developing and maintaining a logistics trace and tracking web application with JSP, PL/SQL and oracle 10g database as well as using TIBCO portal services to publish and manage content on the company’s public site and intranet.Additional responsibilities included health and safety officer as well as social committee chair person.

As a free lance worker I worked on web development using technologies such as Adobe Flash, Adobe Photoshop, PHP5, MySql and Javascript. During this time at Engimation I was also involved in the creation of 2 animation TV adverts using Abobe Flash.

I worked as a web developer and tutor for the department of Information Science.

On the music team at Tuks FM I was responsible for the selection and management of music aired on the stations various shows. Later I moved to the marketing team where I was responsible for organising Tuks FM's participation in events such as Oppikoppi, Spring day and other festivals
