Network Escalations Engineer (Full Remote)
My work focus based on and in the ticketing system, mainly their backlogged queue (the tickets nobodyworked). This included my skillset put into effect without any prior training. I worked through ticketingwith the expectation I knew company policies and procedures. I utilized my skillset and technicalknowledge in a “Common Sense” manner to tackle the work given to me with the tools and resourcesprovided to me. My contract was for 4 months, however, I finished it in 3.Such tickets included.* Configuring Fortigate Firewalls* Identifying devices that should've been removed from monitoring* Identifying Headend Equipment that should've been removed from montioring.* Identifying breaks in redundancy in environments like Banks & Federal Credit Unions, City Wide Govt. Infrastructure.* Calling on site IT to notify or assist with issues picked up on remote monitoring & alarms.* Navigating devices such as, HP iLO server management HTTP interface (also SSH), QNAPS* Diagnosing and Troubleshooting Wireless Controllers.* Diagnosing and Troubleshooting Datto backup solutions including Veeam* Diagnosing and troubleshooting Windows Server 2008, 2012 R8 , 2016* Working with clients (SymQuest Customers) over the phone and email to schedule downtime maintenance, as I would direct SQ Partner companies when and how to do so. This required extensive knowledge of networks and servers, to be able to identify by contract what services SQ managed, for each client.
