• Manage the day-to-day IT systems and operations in the data center. With a focus on IT Infrastructure Services, my responsibilities include installation, configuration, hardening and maintenance of servers, storage as.
• Plan and manage various IT projects and ensure that they are on schedule. Examples include Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Citrix XenDesktop and Microsoft VDI), RSA implementation and Splunk.
• Work with the various technical teams and stakeholders to resolve system problems.

• Provide IT maintenance services to a diversified list of IT equipment (servers, storage, UPS, racks and network devices) across multiple locations.
• Work closely with sales to gather the requirements and source for vendors.
• Respond and address hardware faults and perform routine preventive maintenance in accordance to SLA.
• Plan the activities, supervise external vendors and build up rapport with customers.
• Overseas systems training and support in the ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting (ADMM) 2013.

• Manage a team to support various hospitals ID administration and operations (Active Directory, Lotus Notes, SAP etc).
• Review and assess for improvements in the ID administration process and procedures.
• Ensure compliance and control with established standards and processes; manage and coordinate User ID audit; and follow up on audit findings till closure.

• Outsourced to Central Provident Fund (CPF) to manage and support their infrastructure servers and services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File/ Print, ISA, Antivirus, Avamar backup and wireless authentication).
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including updating patches and virus definition update.
• Provide second level support to the helpdesk and desktop team.
• Establish documentation and inventory management for daily operations.

• First and second level application and technical support - via phone, remote control or on-site support.
• Provide an effective window between users and the resolver group; ensure priority setting and escalation procedures are applied effectively and that all service tickets are responsibly and professionally resolved.
• Provide and develop tools or scripts for improving desktop operations and management.
• Support Active Directory, DHCP, FTP, File and Print services on Windows 2003 platform.
• Basic LAN & WAN and telephony (PABX) configuration and troubleshooting.
• Manage the department intranet site and forum to provide up-to-date information and a platform to exchange ideas.

• Day-to-day data center operations such as running mainframe batch jobs, printing, backup, tapes/cartridges preparation and storage.
• Monitor systems availability, both in the MVS mainframe, Linux and open/distributed systems environment using tools like OMEGAVIEW, AF/OPERATOR and WhatsUp Gold.
• Log down hardware problems and escalate to the respective second level support personnel.
