-Evaluated a non-op election with $1.25MM exposure by determining geological risks, production modeling, and running economics-Created Microsoft Access and Spotfire tools to capture and analyze competitor AFEs from non-operated wells-Identified ways for APC to gain greater capital efficiency and more accurately risk and model the economics of future non-op elections-Informed asset of competitor activities and designs based off of RSEG prism and Drilling Info bulk data

-Gained a greater amount familiarity with drilling, completions, and production of a low GOR area-Learned about production equipment, optimization techniques, facility design, preventative maintenance programs, frac interference mitigation techniques, well tests (DFIT, FIT, fluid level), drilling and cementing operations, and XL/HY/SW frac design-Reviewed high-speed mud pulse tool efficiency-Helped update equipment P&ID’s for production equipment and isometric drawings for construction of central processing facility-Examined current gas lift design process; identified potential cost savings from editing design parameters; and discovered optimization opportunities to uplift production, reduce LOE costs, and to reduce system failures

During my time at Triad Hunter as a field intern, I was exposed to many oilfield activities such as horizontal drilling, logging, hydraulic fracturing, service rigs, plugging and abandonment, injection well facilities, compressor facilities, high-pressure production pads, and pipeline processing stations.

As a Summer Highway Technician, I worked to maintain highways (pothole patching, berming, guard rail replacement, brush control, bridge and sign maintenance) and control traffic.

During a four day job shadow, I did the following:-Interviewed staff in the Engineering, Land, Accounting, and Geology Departments. -Attended a corporate project update meeting and a land acquisition meeting.-Used economic modeling tools such as Aries to build horizontal well models including a dry gas Marcellus well in PA, a wet gas Utica well in OH, an oil/gas Berea well in KY, and a ten well drilling program.-Calculated NGL recovery, shrink, efficiency, and fuel gas for a conventional PA field, QB Johnson mixed refrigeration unit. -Calculated anticipated NGL yield from analysis of PA wet gas Marcellus well. -Used hydraulic calculations (Weymouth) to size pipeline(s) for KY Berea gathering system.-Used gas analysis reports to calculate the Clarion Plant's recovery.-Created an AFE, project plan, and schematic for a proposed compressor station. -Went on a field visit to Clarion, PA where we visited a compression station that included a USA Compression Waukesha + three stage ariel and a QB Johnson refrigeration unit; a vertical open-hole, multiple Devonian well; and a Sandstone Speechley and above well.

-Met with multiple employees including a drilling engineer, production engineer, and a reservoir engineer.-Went on location during deep drilling operations.-Went on location to observe a fluid level test conducted using an echometer.

Lawn care, building maintenance, hung a 5-story building's exterior lighting, tree & shrub trimming, landscaping, and painting.
