I built Smoopa for iOS, a free shopping companion. The app has been featured by Apple and reviewed by USA Today, Consumer Reports, Time, CNET, TechCrunch, and The Wall Street Journal.Selected Accomplishments:• I taught myself how to program for iOS. I started by watching computer science course videos from MIT and Stanford, but then switched to watching YouTube tutorials and learning from other online resources.• Lead iOS developer. XCode/Objectve-C. Worked hand-in-hand with a talented visual design/UX team and one talented backend developer. I also use Storyboards and UI constraints to ensure the app works on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod.• I have attended WWDC and worked in conjunction with the App Store submitting bug reports.• I am proud of building an app that consistently has a 4+ star rating in the Apple App Store.

I was a member of the Massachusetts State Police, one of the largest and oldest state law enforcement agencies in the country. During my career I have received two Medals of Life Saving and a Troop Commanders Commendation. Some of my responsibilities included keeping internal statistics to include uniform crime reports and internal data to adjust work load and focus of our officers. I was responsible for enforcement of Massachusetts Motor Vehicle and Criminal Law with particular enforcement of the Salvage Title Law. Risk analysis is something that is a natural part of law enforcement which I assessed daily utilizing my analytic and problem solving skills. I have also worked with contractors throughout Massachusetts with regards to construction and work zone safety, learning how to motivate and manage other teams and agencies for efficiency and security.I worked in conjunction with the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles as well as many other local and federal institutions with regards to auto theft, supply management, and training coordination. I am constantly seeking new challenges for my ever evolving skills with the benefit of personal and professional growth.
