Member of the company's Continuous Improvement Committee helping to suggest and implement changes taking the company forward towards its goals. While a member of the Stores team, without management guidance or intervention, rationalised and reorganised the complete physical stores department, leading to increased picking efficiency and vastly improved stock accuracy. Formed relationships with all departments in the company ensuring that each involved parties needs were addressed and fulfilled where possible.

Iraq

Responsible for the Procurement arm of the Materials department. Used local, regional and UK suppliers to purchase goods and materials. Acting manager four weeks out of 12 due to contract leave rotation. Worked closely with the British MoD and Defence Estates. Setting up of contracts for materials with vendors and third parties. Recipient of an Op Telic campaign medal.

Falkland Islands

Civilian contractor on MoD contract for maintenance of Mount Pleasant Airport and its associated bases and vehicles. Worked as part of a team responsible for receiving, maintaining and issuing stock. Working to MoD, ISO and BSI standards for quality, health & safety and good practices.
