I was charged with pivoting technology platforms to focus on health, safety, security and penetrating previously untapped markets amidst a 75% revenue reduction due to the pandemic's impact on primary market. Right-sized the organization, reducing enterprise-wide team and introducing an OKR framework to streamline priorities, effectively allocate resources, and track results. In 2018, transitioned from VP to DeCurtis President. Reported to the Board of Directors and oversaw the leadership team in organizational transition from a custom application consulting firm to a SaaS based, software platform provider. Built technology roadmap and led engineering in design and launch of the most advanced experience platform in the industry, positioning DeCurtis as the leader in location-and-proximity-based software solutions for the hospitality industry. I was initially engaged by DeCurtis as a consultant through Plain Sight Strategy to transform this custom application development services company from a standard development partnership model to a SaaS provider for the hospitality and cruise industry. Assessed existing portfolio of products, utilizing features from a top performing solution, developed on behalf of a leading cruise and entertainment company, to collaboratively develop the Mobile Assembly Suite (MAS). Realigned the 200-member engineering and product teams in India. Rebranded the business, spearheaded go-to-market strategy and business development with industry leaders. Achievements Include♦ Reached multimillion-dollar revenue gains, securing contracts with 4 of the largest cruise lines. Positioned DeCurtis for private equity investment. ♦ Won “Onboard Supplier of the Year” at the 2012 Seatrade Insider Awards in recognition of MAS product’s position as the leading platform in the cruise industry.

From 2009 - 2018, I founded and served as Principal consultant, advising a diversity of companies on leadership development, technology optimization and business transformation. In 2005, I advanced to operational, practice and product development lead following successes as Practice Manager. Transformed the business by codifying and automating business and technology solutions into repeatable and re-useable intellectual property and products. As CEO, right-sized the organization to sustain financial solvency in the midst of the economic downturn. Restructured management team and rebuilt sales team and compensation strategy. Instituted post implementation support structure to sustain product viability during the rapid evolution of technology. I was enlisted to apply my Microsoft SMS product expertise to build practice structure and lead the most technically advanced Professional Management Technologies practice in the country. Utilized deep industry network to source, recruit and manage a 15-member team of the best and brightest Systems Management consultants. Achievements Include♦ Built a large client base, exceeding 2004 projections by 100% with a 60%+ margin rate across the practice.♦ Rebuilt Intrinsic’s proprietary software, Swimage, an automated OS migration solution that pre-dated all OS migration tools including MDT, OSD, and Ghost.♦ Differentiated Intrinsic’s Management Technologies practice through introduction of collateral and technical documentation, a unique offering in the marketplace. ♦ Noted Subject Matter Expert in Systems Management, enlisted as a valued speaker at industry events for both Intrinsic and Microsoft.

I was hired following successes as a 2-year contracted Test Engineer. Served as Enterprise Team Lead and Program Manager for the Systems Management Server (SMS) product. Designed and led the 1st customer program in SMS product history, achieving several “firsts” for the product. Introduced collaborative specification reviews with customers and a ‘Customer Airlift’ program that brought early product adopters onsite to garner valuable customer feedback prior to release into production.Achievements Include♦ Established 1st Joint Development Program for Windows 2000 and an Early Adopter Program for SMS.
