As an integrative therapist, I appreciate the autonomy and uniqueness of every individual. I meet and accept my clients where they are at in life’s journey, and every part of you is welcome. I aim to support my clients to develop a deeper understanding of who they are and what they feel. I have extensive knowledge of theoretical counselling & psychotherapy approaches and their application to real-world settings specifically Third Wave Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Humanistic and Psychodynamic psychotherapy. I strive to do everything I can to promote mindful healthy living when I work with my clients. I live a mindful healthy lifestyle through my interest in philosophy, fitness, music and yoga. I have learned much about the mind-body connection and in particular the power of breathwork. The discipline and resilience required of sport coupled with my therapeutic journey have helped shape me as a holistic therapist and I endeavour to create strong healing relationships with clients in a safe and nurturing environment. I am experienced working with adult clients from diverse cultures, age groups, socio-economic backgrounds, genders, and sexual orientations.Areas of expertise include stress, relationships, depression, grief, anxiety and personal development. I offer counselling and psychotherapy services to adult clients on a weekly/bi-weekly basis depending on the client's needs.

I undertook supervised counselling practice as part of my college placement while also working towards accreditation with the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapists (IACP)

In this role I was responsible for coordinating the activities of the RTÉ Television Schedule Planning unit.Responsibilities included:- Acting as RTÉ’s point of contact to platform providers, and creating blackout schedules for distribution to external platforms whilst ensuring licensing agreements were not compromised- Providing the required daily, weekly and quarterly forecasting and reporting data on broadcast output as per licensing agreements- Advising and guiding the Schedule Planning team in support of department objectives- Processing of FOI or any other ad hoc requests - Quality control of legacy material prior to broadcast- Preparing and performing quality control of subtitles and Irish Sign Language (ISL) files for broadcast- Contributing to the development of new workflows and implementating new business processes with regard to RTÉ's content management systems.

Supervised and coordinated a team of eight presentation schedulers who supplied playlists and EPG listings for a network of sports channels.Responsibilities included:- Ensuring all deadlines were met and deal with any issues that arise from playout and reconciliation- Coordinating and organising the timely delivery of commercial, sponsorship and other interstitial material- Devising the structure and break format for all in-house live programming and relaying this information to producers and schedulers- Dealing with a variety of external clients and software developers in relation to channel output and compliance, customisations, system development and new projects

• The Broadcast Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of Vision247’s broadcast operations function, which consists of the MCR, the scheduling department and the production and technical operations of the studios.• Reviewing and implementing department processes, new guidelines and strategies• Setting SMART objectives and targets for the whole team and individuals• Conducting regular appraisals and reviews to ensure adherence to the objectives and targets and working to rectify deviations• Strengthen client relationship to aid in the successful continuance of services to clients • Ensure data collection, trend and fault analysis and processes surrounding incident management reporting of service-affecting issues to both customers and internal company stakeholders are adequate and fit for purpose and conform to industry best practice. • Ensure staff members are quality and client –focused and they work hard to ensure client satisfaction • Communicate difficult / sensitive information to Clients tactfully. • Support the Sales team and Client Delivery team in managing new service launches and change of service requests

Responsibilities included:• Managing the day to day running of the Scheduling Department at Vision 247• Creating programme plans, daily schedules and GFX for Renault TV's feeds• Managing EPG uploads to BSkyB, Freesat, Freeview and Free (FR) for several clients• Monitoring TX output and writing up TX/fault reports.• Performing quality control of incoming media• File management of archives• Liaising with clients on a regular basis• Researching and implementing changes to operational processes including the transmission and MCR areas to increase team productivity

In my role as a Broadcast Technician, I was part of a team looking after the broadcast needs of the client, British Eurosport. This was a dual role where I alternated monthly between the roles of transmission operator and MCR operator running Omnibus Software, Omneon and Grass Valley.Responsibilities included:• Presentation and transmission of British Eurosport 1 and 2• Operation of live graphics using Avid Deko• Checking REID ID triggers and monitoring the channel’s EPG• Satellite tuning using HD & SD adhoc receivers and incoming fibre feeds• Establishing ISDN lines and carrying out line ups for live events• Recording and clipping of incoming material using Omnibus G3 Ingest System• Ingest , compiling and dubbing of commercial and promo material using VT & FTP• Providing technical support to studio operations, commentary booths and library• Maintaining the performance of all the equipment involved in the transmission of the two channels• Quality control and media management of material on server• Daily report writing and administration duties• Covering the Operational Supervisor when needed to oversee the smooth day to day workings of British Eurosport 1 and 2. Attending weekly meetings with the client.

In this role I operated in a multichannel transmission and MCR environment running IBIS Landscape software and Grass Valley.Responsibilities included:• Presentation and transmission of Setanta’s sports channels which also included NASN (later to be rebranded ESPN)• Operation of live graphics using PixelPower Clarity• Recording and clipping of incoming material on VT and IBIS Serverload Ingest System• Ingest of commercial and promo material using VT and FTP• The creation of filler material• Responsibility for the quality control of all material due for transmission• Daily report writing• Training of staff
