As the Senior Financial Systems Analyst, I handle much of the primary systems administration and support for Hyperion Financial Management and related products (HFM, SmartView, FDM, CXO-Cockpit), as well as Sage Premier Planning/Depreciation (FAS/CIP) and RAMI (Lease 4000, Workflow 4000). Responsibilities include user provisioning, issue support, and report development. Ad hoc needs are met leveraging VBA macro development as necessary. I contribute to CXO report development, which leverages the MDX query language, as well as Workflow 4000, which uses SQL to provide custom leasing queries. My focus is on continuing to improve my systems knowledge to deliver robust solutions to the Financial Reporting and Controller functions.

As the primary agent for all AP voucher matching, coding, posting, and scanning, I have been responsible for recording 320 vouchers in eStelplan and reconciling 175 vouchers against their purchase orders in Service-Now each month. I code internal vouchers for their cost centers and projects, and route inter-company vouchers for payment or processed them to be charged back. I scan all vouchers using Kofax and create copies of each voucher with backup. I also review and process credit card expense reports as well as reimbursable expense reports for 50-60 users each month.At month end, I am responsible for recording capital expenses to CIP in Sage Premier. When necessary, I assist in placing assets in service in Sage FAS for capitalization and running depreciation. I assist with journal entries and reviewing purchase orders for accrual. I prepare account reconciliations and the fixed asset roll forward and prepare a footed reconciliation package.I also dedicate bandwidth to assisting the Asset Management department with asset disposals, handling the process from disposal checklist preparation through reconciliation of the vendor manifest and retirement of the assets in Service-Now and FAS when necessary. I have also assisted with software license record research, reviewing prior purchase records data tables from prior systems to put together a complete picture of current entitlements.

I quickly stepped into a full accounting role, handling entry for AP and AR, and reconciling inventory in Sage BusinessWorks. I was promoted after a month to Staff Accountant, taking on the responsibilities of check runs, payroll, bank reconciliations, sales tax and property tax reporting, and month end close, managing to work through a backlog of work and balancing prior responsibilities with new ones. I also handled credit card reconciliations for the principals and a few other users, as well as reimbursement reports.I managed cash flow through a credit squeeze, balancing payments for vendors and debt and chasing major sources of delinquent receivables. Collections were very behind when I joined the company, with the focus being on billing out all sales orders when possible. Once I cleared the billing backlog and had a process, I turned my attention to receivables, setting up an aging report by management company to track sizable aged balances and prioritize weekly focus.I conceptualized and built an excel database, leading to improved tracking of recurring revenue and providing a means for business intelligence. Recurring revenue streams from their services were the backbone of the company, yet there was no visibility on a property and company level as to what services were utilized when I joined.

I was solely responsible for full-cycle AR duties, including invoicing, collection, deposits, G/L reconciliation, month end closing, as well as inventory reconciliation. I ensured that all sales orders were billed promptly and maintained an average collection period of 30 days for most accounts. I prepared weekly and monthly financial reports such as gross profit and sales forecasts for management. I also performed credit checks on potential customers and worked with Operations to ensure that delinquent customers were warned of orders being potentially held.
