Second Chance Fundraising is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Johnstown, Pennsylvania with the goal of raising funds for medical research/awareness, medical financial assistance, and college scholarships. The organization was formed in 2016 by best friends Craig Smith and Derek Partsch after Craig received a heart transplant in the fall of 2015. Second Chance Fundraising is a way for Craig to use his "second chance" to help others who may be experiencing similar situations.Please visit our website, www.secondchancefundraising.org, for future event information or to donate.SCF was a creator of the CORE College Challenge that has since been picked up by DonateLife PA. The College Challenge occurs each spring across college campuses state-wide. Participating groups from each college spend one month coming up with creative and fun ways to promote organ donation and register as many new donors as possible. The Challenge has been directly responsible for thousands of new registered donors in PA.

-Over $100,000 in sponsorship revenue generated-Managed a team of Sales interns with post-internship placement that includes the Pittsburgh Penguins, Wheeling Nailers, State College Spikes, Live Nation and Penn State Athletic Department.

-Partnered with local businesses and sold over $100,000 of Sponsorship packages to include advertising and business to business trades.

-Directly managed events throughout the 2011 and 2012 seasons raising over $60,000 for Pirates Charities
