Certified National Board Pressure Equipment Inspector and Navy Veteran Steam Generating Plant Inspector with 20+ years of experience leading Sailors in engineering (power) plant management, operation, inspection, modernization and corrective/preventive maintenance. Advised Immediate Superiors in Command (ISIC) and Commanding Officers of Navy ships in boiler, catapult, re-boiler and associated equipment repairs and Departure from Specifications (DFS). Provided direct technical support to the Navy Technical Warrant Holder and In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA). Developed, modified, and provided final approval for boiler, catapult accumulator and re-boiler overhaul specifications, including work packages accomplished by ship repair facilities. Provided technical oversight during maintenance, repair, upgrades and overhauls, as well as reviewed repair reports throughout the overhaul process and was the technical expert while attending progress meetings as a liaison between the ISEA, NAVSEA, and the ship repair facility.
