I love the feeling of satisfaction when we can help our clients take control of their money and transform their lives.As an economics graduate, I retain a strong interest in markets and economic analysis and use this to help form our long-term investment management philosophy so we can continue to deliver excellent ongoing investment performance.As well as finances and money, I have built up skills in coding, marketing, design and branding which have helped me transform my vision into what NorthStar is today.Although I care passionately about helping people with their money and finances, I firmly believe that money should always come second to family. I try to spend as much time with my young family as I can and love being a Dad. When I have time, I am passionate about sports and enjoy playing football, squash, table tennis and golf. I also enjoy watching many sports with a particular interest in following Southampton FC. I also enjoy good food, good music and good movies.

We have chosen to only employ Chartered Financial Planners - the gold standard in financial advice qualifications - to ensure our clients always get the very best advice.At NorthStar, my role focuses on day-to-day business operations, investment management, financial monitoring, systems design & support and client reporting. I also head up the NorthStar Investment Committee, overseeing all portfolio research, recommendations & implementation. In addition to these functions, I am also responsible for all marketing, promotional activities and brand management. This included the Pension Performance Review Process and the Wealth Protection Solution.I created the initial concept and framework for the Pension Performance Review Process and took this idea to market. As the sole software developer and programmer, I created a completely new type of pension switching software allowing advisers to produce compliant, time-efficient and client-friendly suitability reports. I helped design the marketing strategy that saw this software increase to a user base of around 60 advisory firms across the UK.Developing and refining this software, I oversaw organic expansion and was responsible for all operational matters including software development, coding, testing, support procedures, training, marketing, branding and product development.
