After 12 years in Supply Chain and Strategic Operations for leading transportation companies, I joined the startup of TLD RAMP as a co-founder to deliver transloading solutions for those using rail/truck services and other transportation methods. My role is to innovate, drive, and direct strategy for our company and ensure our Supply Chain is the best around.TLD has grown, I’m incredibly proud to say, from three founders to a team of professional logistics providers. As Senior VP, I designed and drove strategic growth for this global transportation company. This included the development and direction of the customer acquisition program, and sales strategies, as well as coordinating implementation efforts cross-functionally. I reported directly to Chief of Global Strategy and collaborated with Watco executives to achieve, sustain, and exceed international strategic goals. I led project management and budget oversight on high stakes plans and oversaw the launch of new commercial facilities.As Senior VP, I:• Responded to facilities relocation mandate by curating an enterprising partnership with city and state government to fund a $5MM construction project and launch a mutually beneficial railway facility and distribution center. Led project management and team of 30 to complete project and generate company $8MM in additional business. • Orchestrated and oversaw implementation of Cost-Plus pricing model redesign resulting in 3 RFPs with $5MM annual valuations with an EBITDA of 25% for each contract. • Analyzed crude oil trading hub and developed rail solution that increased revenue by $7.8MM with a 38% EBITDA.

It was neat to focus on the sales and marketing side of things in this SVP role. In doing so, I generated $100MM reporting directly to the CMO and leading 5 managerial direct reports in opportunity identification, dynamic sales strategy, creative marketing, and revenue generation. Uniquely positioned with my previous experience, I also developed and promoted multiple Terminal and Port additions during these two years.• Introduced Supply Chain railroad concepts to Watco potential clients, acquired new accounts, and drove sales to new heights. • Designed innovative marketing plans to transform 28 underperforming profit centers to full revenue potential.

Greater St. Louis Area

This role launched what became an incredible experience and long career with Watco. I oversaw the growth and development of 7 transloading terminals by building relationships with oil and gas executives, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction rates, and designing, bidding, and landing ambitious operating proposals. In this role, I assisted in a strategic marketing campaign called “Energy by Rail” which ended up being not only a profitable initiative but a great way to unite multiple departments within the company.
