Directly responsible for all aspects of building a 15,000 sq foot state of the art bioskills lab and conference center in Tampa, Florida including:- Overall build out budget- Layout of the operational flow of the facility- Branding and aesthetics of facility- Strategic, operational, and marketing plans - Develop financial models and cash flow projections

I led the transformation of our organization from one focused entirely on clinical research, to a multifaceted research and educational institution with international recognition. FORE consists of four departments that are in many ways individual businesses of their own: clinical research, biomechanical research, continuing medical education, and the surgical training center. My biggest accomplishment has been hiring excellent leaders that have helped me tremendously in making FORE a success. The highlights are:- Building the first surgical training center in Tampa, Fl. This led to international exposure of FORE as companies from North America and Europe routinely used our facility for education of surgeons and for prototype evaluation/proof of concept type labs.- Receiving accreditation by the ACCME so that we could produce and offer our own CME courses for surgeons and other healthcare providers.- Establishing a biomechanics testing lab in-house to better serve our physician/industry clients. Previously, biomechanical research had to be outsourced to institutions set up to handle these types of studies. Building our own lab has led to numerous opportunities and research projects that would not have otherwise been possible. - Revamping our brand and implementing marketing strategies to grow our CME learning events and social media presence.- Executing our mission of research excellence by getting hundreds of studies performed at our institution into peer-reviewed journals.

Oversaw all clinical research efforts in the various subspeciaties of orthopaedics including Shoulder & Elbow, Joint Reconstruction, Sports Medicine, Trauma, Hand & Upper Extremity, Foot & Ankle, and Spine. Specific tasks included design of experiments, statistical analysis, authoring of abstracts and manuscripts, and contract negotiations. Additionally, I created and implemented company-wide policies regarding all clinical studies including data management, FDA guidelines and regulations, and instituting good clinical practices (GCPs).

As research manager, I oversaw all research efforts in the shoulder research department. During this time, our institution was the lead site in an FDA Investigational Device study of the Reverse Shoulder Prosthesis (RSP). Most of my efforts were dedicated to the numerous research studies (clinical and biomechanical) on the RSP in collaboration with Mark Frankle, MD.

Instructor for the Orthopaedic Residency Program at USF. I oversee the basic science rotation that takes place at FORE and give lectures on research methods and statistics to the residents.
