CurrentResponsibilities include:• Designing and managing innovative and adaptable security awareness program with the goal of cultivating and maintaining a companywide culture of security awareness. • Actively reviewing results of ongoing security awareness training and adjusting to meet any identified deficiencies.• Leveraging industry and government sources to identify emerging or current threat trends and adjusts program as needed.• Creating and maintaining a comprehensive, robust security awareness training plan outlining the goals of the program as well as the methods for achieving. • Producing monthly, high-quality communications illustrating program status, areas for improvement and success and applicable cybersecurity news and trends.• Coordinating with executive and line managers to ensure employee adaptation of cybersecurity practices and procedures.• Continuously monitoring program and employee performance and creating and assigning ad-hoc training regimens as needed.Program impact:• Phish Alert Button instituted within Outlook provides employees a quick way to report potential phishing attacks. Button usage averages 2,500 reported emails annually, often allowing IT insight on potential phishing trends and ability to warn employees of dangerous emails sitting in their inbox.• KnowBe4 Security Awareness Proficiency Assessment (SAPA) and Security Culture Survey (SCS) scores have increased two consecutive years since the baseline tests were conducted. Both the increase rate and scores themselves far outpace our industry counterparts.• Employee security awareness culture has formed with a high-level of proactivity and enthusiasm in reporting potential threats that wasn't seen prior to program implementation.
