Versatile and experienced technology professional on a mission to create a bridge between people and the tech they interact with (and occasionally curse at).I started in IT more than 15 years ago at the foundational desktop and employee support role, building and expanding my knowledge of information systems and practices along the way. I’ve worked in various industries including hospitality and resorts, defense, retail goods, energy, and now healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Each unique, challenging, and rewarding, helping shape the nimble and adaptable professional I am today.(Hey - if you aren’t nimble and adaptable, are you really a technology professional?)In my current role as a security awareness analyst, my focus is on providing individuals with the knowledge they need in order to protect themselves and their organization from cybercrime. These empowered employees learn to approach their everyday routine with a security-first mindset. Once properly (and continuously) trained, these stronger individuals work together to reduce the risk of a successful cyberattack and form a human firewall, protecting themselves, their organization, and it's data from compromise.
