Derek Steelberg retired from Accenture, a global management consulting, technology and outsourcing company after almost 30 years in various global management and client account leadership roles including Global Managing Director – Oracle and Global Managing Director – Technology for the Resources industry group.In addition to his Accenture management roles, Derek also held a variety of client account leadership positions, working with clients across multiple industries including wireline, wireless and cable communications service providers, utilities, energy, financial services and state & local government. He was typically involved in helping clients manage large-scale business and technology transformations and/or in implementing new & emerging technologies.Derek has extensive international experience. He lived and worked in Europe for more than 20 years and was responsible for managing global practices that included North and South America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.Since retiring from Accenture, Derek has been active in the start-up space as a coach, advisor and investor.
