Leader of the Accounting, IT and Human Resources functions of a 100 year old, employee owned business. As CFO, I am responsible for the financial continuity of the employee owned business. From an HR perspective, I am accountable for ensuring that LBS provides competitive pay and benefits to all of our employee owners. I work closely with the sales teams in three divisions of the business to ensure our pricing models are accurate and profitable while still being competitive. I strive everyday to break down roadblocks and remove hindrances to improve efficiency and job satisfaction. Notable accomplishments to date:- Structured, closed and integrated two acquisitions in 12 months, the first acquisitions in the Company's 100 year history.- Implemented a new inventory management process that saves 14 labor days per month and provides the sales team with realtime stocking levels.- Streamlined the Company's GL structure by reducing GL accounts while still maintaining the integrity of our financial statements and greatly reducing time spent reclassing expenses and making payroll adjustments.- Established financial KPI's for the business to drive increased profitability.- Proactively works with management, reporting out monthly with a "Month in Review" report that discusses trends in the business and proposes remedies if necessary.

Directs and coordinates activities of Human Resources, Accounting, Operations and other major divisions of the business organization. Provides both operational and programmatic support to the organization and aids department managers in formulating and administering organization policies. Assists will all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to strategic planning, budget management, business development. Effectively executes upon the organization’s strategic plan. Work with the Ownership Group to develop the organization's strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships, developing new markets, and product development.

Managed a team of analysts responsible for the commercial and private banking underwriting function for the organization (Iowa and Florida). Developed and implemented the Companies first quantitative risk rating system utilizing industry specific metrics to measure the likelihood of loan default. Completed quarterly reports that analyzed the organizations loan portfolio concentration by industry segmentation.

Conduct ad hoc financial statement analysis (Audits, Reviews, Tax Returns) to evaluate credit risk. Assist lending staff in setting loan covenants and loan structure. Complete credit memos for presentation to loan committee.
