Company Officer (Captain)
Current- Respond to emergency incidents as an officer of a firefighting company; perform a variety of firefighting, rescue, hazardous material, and other functions, including Incident Command Officer
- Implement department goals and objectives, establish work priorities, schedule and coordinate work to be accomplished per shift
- Responsible for daily log, emergency calls and reports, and injury reports
- Participate in daily training exercises and classroom lectures, and prepares and conduct training for the department, when assigned
- Conduct pre-fire plans, supervise shift inspections, assign work projects, and approve completed work
- Conduct demonstrations, tours and public speeches on fire safety, fire prevention, fire extinguishers, first aid, and other subjects to the public
