This included working to support employees and managers progress and succeed in structured retail and distribution environments. The May Department Stores Company was an American department store holding company, formerly headquartered in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. May Company bought, sold, and merged regional department stores, such as Lord & Taylor, Foley's and Kauffman’s. After many changes in the retail industry, the company merged with Federated Department Stores (Macy's) in 2005. As the HR Director in Arizona I was responsible for leading Human Resources activities for the 900 employees within the combined Credit Service Center and May National Bank which supported Store Branded credit cards. This included Talent Acquisition, Training & Development, Compensation Management and Employee relations.

As the Training supervisor I was responsible for developing new credit associates in the systems, tools, and processes required of credit collections as well as advanced training and development activities and all compliance requirements with the FCRA and FDCPA.

Having begun my career in the Corporate Office Human Resources Department I supported recruiting and employee relations of the administrative staff. In that role I was also charged with supporting and the eventual administrative consolidation of credit operations employees from each of the 9 Store brands into 3 credit service centers and 2 bank operations (in AZ and OH).
