About Derek Wilson

Bad things happen to good people and I believe in healing the hurt. I’ve practiced on both sides of personal injury law which is why, today, I focus on helping those who have been injured or denied an insurance claim.After earning my Master of Laws degree (with merit) from the London School of Economics in 1997, I became a partner at a boutique Toronto defense firm that dealt exclusively in insurance defense litigation. This experience taught me how large insurance companies think, but by 2009, I’d had enough. I worked at Malhotra, Stayshyn & Wilson until 2013 when I opened Derek Wilson Personal Injury Law.At Derek Wilson Personal Injury Law, we’re honest, we care about our clients, we know their names, and we fight for them.
