I had the opportunity to work as a Scrum Master for three groups during my time at Lazard, and it was an enriching experience. One of the biggest challenges was ensuring that each group was able to work together seamlessly as a scrum team, despite having different skill sets and areas of expertise. However, by focusing on the 5 scrum values and fostering a sense of collaboration, we were able to overcome these challenges and produce some truly outstanding work.As a Scrum Master, I was responsible for ensuring that each group adhered to Agile methodologies and best practices, while also providing training to Lazard and support as needed. This involved facilitating daily scrum events, sprint planning events, review/retrospectives events, and refinement sessions. Also, providing regular status updates to the stakeholders via sprint backlog and review events.Overall, my experience at Lazard was incredibly valuable, and I learned a great deal about more about the scrum framework, teamwork, and effective communication. I am proud of the work that my scrum teams were able to accomplish during my time there, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with such a talented and dedicated group of individuals.
