About Deric Plummer
If you are looking for a highly motivated, self-starting individual who knows how to learn and is pumped about tackling your software needs, then look no further.If you had asked me in January of 2014 for any kind of computer help you would have been in trouble. I was unsure of what I wanted to do with myself career wise but a few series of events led me to taking my first programming class. Fast forward to now and I have a bachelors degree in Computer Info Technology, and even more importantly, a passion for software development. During my final semester of college I worked at our university's IT department as a part time software developer. I was giving the task of rebuilding the University's Enrollment bridge using technology(C# and SSIS) that I was barely familiar with. I was able to succeed because I demonstrated the ability to break down problems and find the answers to those problems through a variety of sources. I am currently very passionate about gaining a higher understanding of the Microsoft ASP.NET Core MVC framework. I strive to take at least 3 hours a day working on personal projects that will enhance my knowledge of these technologies but I know that the best way to really learn these concepts is practice in a enterprise level work environment.
