• Manage the team responsible for the financial oversight, planning, financial analysis and communication of Corporate Center’s cost center budget processes, reporting on Corporate Center expense, capital, and allocation results to senior management and Business Unit leaders. Also, direct the witness support team for the Corporate Center in General Rate Case (GRC) filings.• Responsible for the monthly reporting and annual and quarterly budget/outlook process for Corporate Center expense and capital. Ensure that detailed project plans, schedules and guidelines are created and communicated at all levels through senior management. Direct the business analyst team on a daily basis and review their deliverables to ensure quality of analysis, timeliness and presentation is appropriate for senior management and business unit planning teams and controllers.• Responsible for the completion of periodic multi-year regulatory forecasts such as GRC. Determine appropriate use of team resources over a lengthy case cycle, setting priorities over multiple deliverables. Ascertain satisfaction, harmonious relationships and communication among witnesses, support team, utility counterparts, regulatory case management, and all other levels through the Senior Management Team.• Direct the Budgets & Reporting team in specialized analyses, reports and presentations for senior executives, such as historical trends of O&M costs and allocation methodology dynamics. Initiate creative approaches to analyzing data and oversee the distribution and communication of conclusions. Manage team resources to deliver requested projects on a timely basis.• Serve as source of information regarding the Company’s goals, policies, requirements and organizational plans to ensure compliance among the staff. Plan and monitor the financial budget and spending for all of Corporate Center. Report to Division executives on routine deliverables, significant accomplishments, and upcoming projects.

• Advances Sempra’s strategic and financial analysis and planning, collaborates with the business units and other functions of the company on investment decisions, and aids and advises the Treasurer and CFO on key financial, economic, market, and policy impacts and/or risks to the company and other special projects. • Assist with coordinating the design and execution of Sempra’s long-range financial plan including development of timeline, assumptions, structure, and deliverables. Monitor and advise the business units on proper approaches to financial plan development. Work closely with Treasury and Tax groups to ensure proper financing and tax treatment. Oversee consolidation of corporate-wide financial plans and perform detailed reviews of financial plan results.• Project analysis and review to establish and maintain processes by which investment opportunities are to be assessed and considered consistently across Sempra’s businesses while taking into consideration the Sempra shareholder and credit rating agencies to include financial and economic analysis.• Lead the effort to model the financial and economic impact of key opportunities and risks, including acquisitions, divestures, capital structure changes, other business developments, regulatory or tax law changes.• Anticipate and respond to requests from senior management for economic and market research. Provide analytical and data-supported presentations to senior management on topics including but not limited to dividend payout policy, political risk, foreign excess cash, tax benefit utilization, and credit rating considerations.• Develop and maintain complex project modeling and risk analysis. Lead the maintenance and improvement of Sempra’s company-wide strategic and financial analysis models. Ensure forecasting effectiveness, by focusing on timeliness, reliability, and quality of analysis.

• Responsible for business unit monthly and quarterly FAS 109/ASC 740 tax closing and SEC reporting disclosures, including domestic and foreign provision calculations, quarterly and annual effective tax rate preparation, deferred tax analysis, discrete tax calculations, and preparing the FIN 48 analysis.• Plan, lead, and execute the tax component of the consolidated and segment five-year plans and outlooks.• Manage the communication of internal deadlines and deliverables between the tax department and Corporate Strategy for the five-year plans and outlooks.• Responsible for junior staff development, training, and mentoring in tax accounting and tax compliance.
