Inspect, review, and correct pnuematic 1 line drawings of safety systems. Worked with engineers to answer and complete questions in original drafts and finalized drawings that will be distributed to each platform for system information. Ran new pnuematic installations as job foreman, made in field adjustments , correct existing logic, and function test newly installed systems. Correct fab yard engineering and brought new equipment online and set production tolerances to run smoothly. Assessed, designed, and installed new pneumatic safety systems, interfaced pressure switches to control and kill compressor units, generators, amine units, ect. also revised and upgraded existing systems. I was a construction technician for linear controls where I helped install i&e systems on offshore production platforms. Filled out work permits, hot work permits as necessary. Created lists of necessary hardware and tools to perform job at hand. We were very safety conscious and aware of risks and solutions to perform each job in a safe and timely manner. Flew or was transported by boat to each platform in the particular field we were in to troubleshoot and access what was needed to complete each job at hand. We kept a very detailed inventory list and informed the supervisor on hardware that was needed. I would find the most efficient way of identifying and completing my job whatever it may be.
