I'm a passionate developer with a strong reputation for solving difficult software problems. I love working with people, and strive to make a positive impact on everyone I meet. I love to innovate and learn new technologies, which is why I feel very lucky to work with extremely innovative people in my group, whom I look up to. Outside of work, I mentor, teach software development at nearby high schools, and work on hobby robotic and embedded systems projects. Organizational Scrum Master / CoachIntel Corporation Jul 2019 - Oct 2020Santa Clara, California, UsDuring this time, I was the Scrum Master and process coach for our engineering organization (with around 50 members). I studied under the expert teachings of Jeff Sutherland (co-creator of Scrum), Pat Elwer (Intel Fellow and Corporate Scrum Expert) and Salman Ahmad (my Director and agile coach). I held the role of Scrum Master for 4 teams and coached 2 others. Worked with Execution-Team Members, Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, Principle Engineers, Directors and our group Vice President to coordinate and ensure a streamlined process/methodology for all teams. In the short time I held this role, there was measurable improvement in several of the teams' individual execution (including two teams that doubled their velocity and quarterly story output). There was also a significant "happiness metric" improvement across all teams and better coordination between teams with respect to organizational backlog. Towards the end of this role I was scheduling and organizing quarterly release planning, teaching classes on agile process, lean software development and model-based problem solving (co-taught with Rahima Mohammed, Senior Principle Engineer) as well as mentoring individuals in the areas of influence expansion, innovation and agile principles. -
