Develops and maintains software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products. The analyst is part of a team that maintains, administers, and installs DTS software changes.Responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and executing scripts and processes used to facilitate the software builds, configuration, and reporting processes for the DTS application. Perform Configuration Management Audits and application administration activities associated with installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and expanding the suite of tools used to manage the DTS Program.Also write UNIX scripts and troubleshoot UNIX based software applications and perform daily system upgrades, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and application monitoring. Supports a large, highly available, multi-tiered web-based application. Coordinate and perform administration of assigned configuration management activities relative to identification, control, and accounting for systems and/or equipment in accordance with contractual requirements. Establishes procedures for and implements the introduction of changes to engineering documents for an assigned program. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Ensures that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
