My passion for programming dates back to when I was about 11 years old and I got an Atari 800 XL computer. Playing games on it was fun, but learning to make the computer follow my instructions lit the fire. I started developing applications while I was a law enforcement officer. I knew law enforcement was not the long term career for me. I have always enjoyed creating applications that make life easier and more productive for those who use them. I started programming professionally in 2003 and the fire that was lit when I was a kid is still burning strong. I live by the phrase " If you're not learning, you're not living". My days usually start at 4:00AM when I can take advantage of some quiet time to read and constantly learn new ways to improve my skills, understanding and abilities.
