This position required me to conduct interviews and hire student researchers; organize workshops for students to provide them with the requisite research skills to complete their projects; supervise day to day work of undergraduate students conducting research on various projects for community partners; and act as an intermediary between students and their community partners to help facilitate research goals.

Worked on a project digitizing and compiling the oral histories of a historic photo collection. I scanned and digitized historic photos, interviewed the collector (Adrian Paton) about these images, and compiled the data regarding the images into a spreadsheet. These images were uploaded to https://shfs.ca/images-2/ as well as http://saskhistoryonline.ca/islandora/object/paton%3A00001. Beginning in September 2015, I helped create and edit text regarding selected photos from this collection for a travelling exhibit. I had to describe the relevance and stories behind selected photos is a clear and concise prose.

Worked on the Legal Aid Saskatchewan Gladue Database at the University of Saskatchewan Community Engaged Research Collaboratorium. Worked collaboratively in a group to create a database of facts regarding the history of Indigenous peoples in Saskatchewan to be used to streamline the process of Glade Report writing. I helped design and oversee the creation of a database, enacted primary and secondary source research about Saskatchewan Aboriginal History, and entered relevant information into the database.

Worked for a digital archiving project that worked with various archives across the province of Saskatchewan to digitize and make available unique archival material from Saskatchewan. I scanned and uploaded content to the database and also filled in metadata fields for database entries.
