I began my career as an auditor in the UK and emigrated to Australia in 2002 where I specialized in corporate finance and restructuring. In 2007, I was appointed chief financial officer to an exploration drilling company in Kalgoorlie, leading it through a restructure and ultimate divestment. Since then I have led several corporate transactions in the mining services sector to successful conclusion.In 2009, I became one of the youngest Deloitte partners in Australia and played an instrumental role in growing Deloitte’s Perth practice with the major Australian banks and the mining services sector. After 3 years of partnership with Deloitte, I established Avior Consulting to provide a more bespoke service to middle market companies in financial distress.Since 2012, Avior Consulting has grown into one of the leading restructuring advisory firms for middle market companies. We specialise in the design and implementation of restructuring plans that use all aspects of the available legislation to achieve successful outcomes for our clients.
