A difficult proposition for sure but a bar challenge i am more than up for.Iam glad to be a part of what I say is the golden age for bartending scene that is evolving in India and thriving in Goa .Adding to that it has never this good for the industry as it is now despite these recent years. Bartenders are considered a key part of the F&B industry and a good drinks menu along with a sprit list are key to the success of a great bar. Den is just such an attempt and it’s been a pleasure working with Eric Caeiro who owns and operates this neighbourhood bar unlike anything else in the city and has a very clear vision of running a pure cocktail bar in the south of Goa, very unexpected but worth the visit. The Den’s focus is not limited to local Goan ingredients but hopes to introduce local guests and tourists to well made prohibition style cocktails reminiscent of times depicted by the Peaky Blinders and Board walk empire.This bar boulevardier with a super positive vibe and excitable attitude is a pleasure to sit across the bar and i wish to do this across the world. A sucker of a well made Old Cuban I love being behind the stick and mentoring new talent coming into the craft cocktail world.
