I provide administrative and program support to the Saskatchewan Arts Board's granting programs as part of the Arts Education and Community Engagement team. This includes direct administrative support to the agency's Community Engagement programs, liaising with clients regarding funding applications and reporting, and advising on administrative timelines and logistics, as well as general administrative duties such as data entry, file maintenance, directing administrative workflow, and providing project support to management.As the Arts Board's principal IT contact, I provide desktop support services for the agency, administrate the SharePoint and Exchange servers, and consult with management on equipment and software purchases.In January 2016, I was the lead on a three-month database project designed to transition us from our old DOS-based software to a more modern NoSQL database system (MongoDB). This involved a data transfer of 30,000 database records, working with the developer on the design, structure, and features of the new database, and a comprehensive data verification process.Transitioned to a full-time IT support position in October 2017 for six months in order to begin work on the implementation of our new grants management system (SmartSimple) and online application portal. As primary contact for this project, this involved the transfer of data from our interim NoSQL system to SmartSimple, an extensive data normalization process, and dealing with a sharp learning curve to understand the structure of the SmartSimple system. Nearly 30,000 database records dating back to 1991 were transferred to SmartSimple. Currently dividing my time between administrative work and continued development, administration, and implementation of SmartSimple. I am also the principal contact for our payroll and art collection databases.
