I grew up in an alcoholic home and started drinking at 7 years old. I started doing drugs at 13. By 15 I was dealing drugs. At 16 I dropped out of high school to get my GED and a full-time job; I couldn’t stand school and wanted more money. At 17 I got into a drunken fight and almost killed a kid and as a result spent 2 years in prison and 9 more on parole. While in, I decided I was never going back there again, so, for the last 32 years I’ve been clean and sober and volunteering to help other alcoholics to get, and stay, sober. I currently sit on the Boardnof Directors of Narcotics Anonymous in NH. Around the age of 24 I started my first business installing waterfalls. Since I can’t do that in NH in the winter, I started a handyman company. I grew that handyman company into a lead paint abatement company. I still own and operate both and I’m starting a new company investing in real estate. I also trade stocks and stock options for fun. About 12 years ago, I saw a news article where an infant in Brazil had 32 sewing needles embedded in his body and was horrified. I couldn’t understand how someone would do that to a child so I looked into ways I could help abused kids and discovered BACA and immediately started volunteering with them and am now serving on the Board of Directorsof the NH Chapter.. The most recent was a motorcycle wreck on the highway when my rear tire blew out. I walked away with a bunch of broken bones which included my spine. That should have paralyzed me from the waist down but didn't. The surgery to fix it was postponed by the Dr. twice due to other medical reasons that prevented it. Now, almost 8 years after the wreck, the old saying “The third time’s the charm!” has proven itself true, I’ve finally had the surgery to bolt my spine back to my pelvis. The surgery was on June 29th, 2022, but it appears I will be considered disabled since I can no longer lift heavy things. So now, at 50, I can no longer build waterfalls and will be shutting down the pond building business and focusing on real estate investing full time. I'm looking for a campground to buy that I can use for sober festivals and to have for the BACA kids to come and camp. anyone knows of any for sale for short money, let me know!
