I have a penchant for discovering unmet needs and untapped niches and quickly devising a profitable solution. Several years ago, I spotted an opportunity in my own backyard. In the Permian and Delaware Basins of Texas , there are hundreds of hydraulic fracturing crews who had very limited food options due to the remoteness of the area. Yes, it took some courage to make that leap into entrepreneurship in an unfamiliar industry, but I was inspired by role model, who reared me, a quadriplegic—he taught me how to strive for far-reaching goals and succeed.
