I am currently working for Actalent which is stationed at Catepillar Inc. I work at least 10 hours per week during the semesters, and usually try to do more depending on school work schedules.1. I work as a software test engineer, meaning I test software that my manager assigns me. Mostly, for these tasks I am asked to document the output of these functions by writing reports that future and current employees can use. 2. Other than a test engineer, I am tasked with other software assignments that deal with html design. The programs that we use create html pages that reflect functionality testing of company machines, and I have made new functionalities for these tests.3. I have also been assigned to update company function and test scripts into newer versions of python. Updating company software gave me experience with downloading packages and understanding how to structure files within the computer system. Show less
