With close to 30 years’ experience overseeing foreign relations and event management, and as de-facto chief protocol of Ministry of Defence managing up to 60 military diplomats from around the world who are stationed in Singapore and around the region, I’ve held various command positions, leading and influencing hundreds to thousands of people in the process. I am a highly versatile, performance-driven leader with deep knowledge of high-level government protocol and corporate etiquette, and an extensive personal and professional network across national government and commercial agencies.In my decades of military experience, I’ve undergone rigorous training across countless courses over the years, and have accumulated a huge amount of experience in areas such as Human Resources, Training, Training Development, Operations and Operation Planning, Logistics as well as Defence/International Relations. As a rare career soldier, my unique combination of experiences and exposures have resulted in the cultivation of many positive attributes, such as leadership, integrity and determination, the ability to see things strategically, as well as the application of critical and creative thinking while remaining grounded and reliable.My military grooming from my various appointments and courses over the years, has enabled me to be deployable in multiple domains. My exposure in International Relations, including my tenure as Honorary Aides-de-Camp to the President of Singapore, have allowed me to attain unique experiences and niche skill sets that are highly sought after. I have very strong connections locally, both with national as well as commercial agencies. I am able to operate within international and local communities including civilians, and this comes from the International Relations aspect of my military career, where I am well known for my knowledge and expertise that is deeply appreciated within these circles.
