• Spearheaded a project investigating the role of a novel superenhancer-associated gene in supporting Glioblastoma stem cell (GSC) growth and identified a novel combination strategy of small molecule inhibitors for targeting GSCs, culminating in a first-author manuscript currently under revision in Journal of Clinical Investigation.• Designed and initiated a high throughput drug screen for potentially therapeutic compounds for patients with glioblastoma and identified a promising lead drug candidate that selectively inhibits the growth of GSCs in both in vitro and in vivo settings, the results of which are currently in preparation in a first-author manuscript.
