I have been working on drilling rigs for 15 years. I started as a floorhand, worked floors 2 years and went straight to derrickhand and worked derrick's for 6 years and then I got my first drilling position. I then drilled for 6 years and when the oilfield started slowing down in went to working solids control just to stay in the oilfield. I'm currently still working solids control on a Nabors rig X47 in Midland TX. Now that the oil rigs are going back to work I'm looking to start working on a drilling crew again (any position will be great). I understand I will have to work my way back to driller position and I'm confident that I will achieve that goal.
