Director and Head Instructor for Kime Karate Dojo/GoNoSen Karate of Yonkers.I handled the marketing as well as office manager duties.My training began in 1974 at the PAL of Mt.Vernon NY,there I studied Judo for several years.In College I studied the art of Goju karate.After college I had the honor of training with Sensei Bill Richardson @ Richardsons ShotoKaiKan Karate dojo in Mt.Vernon,NY,I continued to train under several of Sensei"s highest ranking students.In the mid 90"s I had the privilage to train with Hanshi Seiken Takamine who was a student of the Late Taika Seiyu Oyata and I became a member of the Ryute Ren Mei Organization.I also have training in CDT Compliance Direction Takedown system of Tom Patire.My training in this system was located in Westchester County,NY.I have many years of training in both Japanese and Okinawan weapons.I have giving many seminars on self defense for all ages as well as bully prevention techniques.I also held seminars for Law enforcement officials in empty hand techniques as well as weapons and grappling.I had the opportunity to compete for several years in tournaments in the tri state area in Kata,Kumite,and Weapons.I also was certified in Fitness kickboxing from NAPMA The National Association of Professional Martial Artist for several years,and I taught weekly kickboxing,strength and fitness classes which incorporated realistic street self defense. My passion is to continue to pass the valued Tradition of the ARTS.Life Protection not only encompasses the body but the mind and spirit.I am honored to have earned the title of Sensei in 1996 and I continue to honor that to this day .I pay respect to those who have gone before me and those who enlightened me about the TRUE Values of the Life Protection Arts and the moral values and techniques of Classical Okinawan Karate
