Canadian Forces (CFB/ASU Edmonton, AB)Warehouse Manager (2010-2012) • Managed military clothing & kit store inventory within a 5K sq ft warehouse environment to include procurement, shipping/receiving and distribution of all military clothing & kit.• Developed a new warehouse plan that involved designing the warehouse layout to maximize space usage, composed a location system, ordering all appropriate shelving materials and relocating stock while using an automated supply chain system.• Initiated a "wall to wall" stocktaking, which identified stock which was not in the computerized inventory control system, and was therefore able to be rectified. • Responsible for the processing of all documentation to maintain a comprehensive register of receipts and an accurate stock balance on a computerized inventory control system,• Supervise a team of 16 personnel in the support of 6500 military personnel, ensuring they all have required clothing and kit as identified in the Canadian Forces regulations.• Monitored shipments ensuring appropriate documentation and destination address were present and understood, and shipments were expedited in a timely manner.• Supervised teams ranging from 2 to 16 people,• Operated Canadian Forces Personnel Appraisal System (CFPAS) aimed to provide members with constructive feedback and accurately assess levels of demonstrated performance and potential.• Enforced warehouse procedures and safety regulations applicable to work areas and equipment, and chair weekly safety meetings.• Instructor/Examiner Qualified. Camp Warehouse Manager (2009-2010) • Managed camp warehouse for supplies including ammo, weapons, communications equipment, rations, military clothing & kit, and all general and technical stores for entire camp within 38 sea containers, valued over $5M. • Ensure well being and safety of personnel in a very stressful work environment, and help keep moral high.• Developed a new warehouse plan that involved design and reorganization of all 38 sea containers to maximize space usage and ensure tighter security measures.• Initiated full stocktaking, identifying all surpluses, deficiencies, and dormant stock, and completed the appropriate documentation for correction and shipping back to Canada. • Responsible for the processing of all documentation to maintain a comprehensive register of receipts and an accurate stock balance on a computerized inventory control system.• Supervise a team of 4 personnel in the support of 1200 military personnel and various Allied Forces, ensuring they had all necessary equipment and supplies to ensure completion of their missions. • Monitored shipments via Hel Ops and road movement, ensuring appropriate documentation and destination address were present and understood, and shipments were expedited in a timely manner.• Operated Canadian Forces Personnel Appraisal System (CFPAS) aimed to provide members with constructive feedback and accurately assess levels of demonstrated performance and potential.• Enforced camp warehouse procedures and safety regulations applicable to work areas and equipment.• Instructor/Examiner Qualified.
